The first is Thesis Theme by DIY themes. This theme is $87 for the personal use license. It is mostly used for blogging and photos. It can be use to present small businesses and resumes. It’s graphically nice and well designed.
hello8 vina Next, I downloaded the free open source Theme Test Drive WordPress Plugin, and installed and enabled it. This plugin allows you to set a theme for your entire blog that only the administrator will see. In other words, when you are logged into your WordPress dashboard as the admin account, you can test any post or page in your site under a theme and nobody will be the wiser. You can hack the test theme pages and nobody on your site using your normal theme will see what you are testing. Of course, if you make changes to widgets or plugins, everyone will see them on both the public and test themes. Once you enable the plugin all you have to do is go do “Presentation -> Theme Test Drive” in your WP Dashboard and enable the theme you want to test.
That being said, the paid themes you can find online from sellers, like Elegant Themes and Woo Themes for example, look better and have much more expansive customization options.
WordPress being a content management software platform makes it easy to add content to your site (Joomla is also easy, but I find WordPress easier to use).
hello88z.win For most themes, what you can do is use an FTP manager like Filezilla and then go in and replace the current header image on the theme. Again this will vary by theme so the best way to determine how to change your header is to find out if there are any support files with your theme and read them.
hello 88 Some themes come better equipped with instructions; so take a look after downloading a theme to see if there’s any advice or information in the files that you’ve download.
You can’t call them on the phone for help. But, you can post your questions in their dynamic forum. At first I thought getting help through a forum would be a hassle. However, over time I’ve come to like it. More often than not my question or issue was already asked and answered so I can find the solution quickly.
